The Cortland Riverside Gardens leader earns national recognition at Priority Life Care’s 2026 Executive Director’s Symposium
Tarita Dooley, executive director at The Cortland Riverside Gardens in Grand Rapids, has been named first runner-up for the Ken Hook Executive Director of the Year Award at Priority Life Care’s annual Executive Director’s Symposium, which was recently held in Hutchinson, Florida.
This recognition highlights Dooley’s performance and commitment to resident care throughout the past year, as well as her remarkable journey of dedication and growth. An exceptional leader who transformed a challenged community through determination and hands-on leadership, Dooley earned accolades for her ability to consistently find solutions and lead with confidence. Known for her ability to manage both operations and clinical needs, Dooley has built a strong, self-sufficient team and regularly supports other communities.
